Writing task 1 These line and bar graphs represent the amount of money per week spent on fast foods in Britain from 1970 to 1990 as indicated on the x-axis of line graph. The y-axis of line graoh indicates the amount of consumption between 0 and 500 grammes in each 5 year. The bar graph shows the expenditure on fast foods by income groups from 0 to 40 pences per person per week. In high income group the highest expenditure are hamburgers over 45 pences per person. Similary, average income group has the expenditure around 30 pences. On the other hand the highest level of low income group is fish and chips around 15 pences. The lowest level of expenditure is pizza in low icome group around 7 pences,similary with average income group around 10 pences. Although the lowest indicate of expenditure in high income group is the fish and chips over 15 pences per person. In 1970 the highest of fast food was the hamburgers at about 300 grammes. On the other hand, pizza had around 50 grammes, approximently the half of the hamburgers' consumption. From this time, the consumption of pizza gradually increased to about 200 grammes in 1985 while the fish and chips' consumption steadly declined to almost the same number. Converesly, the consumption of hamburgers sharply went up to 500 grammes by 1990 , though indicates of the fish and chips were similary around 200 grammes from 1980 to 1985. By observing the graphs of consumption and expenditure of fast food , we can infer that the hamburgers will have the highest indicates
