A friend of mine is a tour guide, and I think his job is very interesting because he has the chance to travel to all sorts of tourist attractions around the world. Actually, we were schoolmates when we attended middle school in my hometown, a small town in Hunan province. We got to know each other during the school years. He majored in tourism while in university. A few years ago, he passed a test for guide certification, and has since become a tour guide. He usually takes tourists on overseas trips, such as to Singapore, South Korea, and Japan, etc. (No "and" with "etc." Also, I think it might be better to say "...to Singapore, South Korea, Japan, and other East Asian countries.")
I think his job must be pretty interesting; you can imagine, traveling to different places, meeting different people, tasting various kinds of foreign foods.
Anyway, I wish hope I had have the chance to travel around the world some day. (or you can say, "I wish I had the chance to travel around the world." When you add "some day," it is implying hope for the future.)
