No mistakes! Би Америкaaс ирсэн - in case you meet someone outside the States. Because the phrase literally means "I came from America". So, you may be, say, a Japanese guy who just happened to fly to Mongolia from the States. In case you want to say your nationality "Би Америк хүн" is better.
