广州旅行的第一天

昨天我们到到了广州，现在住在一家很舒适的酒店，从房间的窗户能看到珠江。今天在酒店餐厅我们吃了一顿很不错的中式早餐。我的丈夫要开会，所以我一个人出去观光。我去了孙中山纪念堂；然后去了石室天主教堂，不巧它正好关门了。在教堂门口我碰到了两个来自佛山的高中学生，我们一起聊了会儿天。广州的天气十分炎热，还很潮湿，所以今天剩下的时间我可能还是呆在酒店里面比较好，游个泳锻炼身体(I assume there is a swimming pool in your hospital,otherwise we need to say 出去游个泳... not in hotel)，然后休息(游泳、锻炼、休息、等等 is OK,but normally we don't say like that)。

聊聊天 is only used in an imperative like "咱们聊聊天吧", or to describe a habit, as in "我们经常在一起聊聊天"(though you can also say "聊天" in this sentence. The difference might be that "聊聊天" sounds more relaxing than 聊天). It's unusual to use it to refer to a particular chat, such as today's chat between you and the two high school students

潮湿 is not a noun, but an adjective.
