I love Spaghetti
Today, I made a dish of tomato sauce spaghetti*. It is my favourite dish/[food]. I brought a pack of French’s Italian spaghetti sauce mix from Foodland Supermarket nearby my house yesterday. It contains of sugar, corn powder, salt and onion. I have never seen this product before. I have always ever made it with Prego, a can of spaghetti sauce, but my mom did not like it. She told me that it was too greasy.
With a the new ingredients, I made spaghetti sauce by adding some tomato sauce and vegetable oil, as a the direction on a the package, while I boiled some pasta on the right side of the (fire) (cooking) stove. It take a short time (to finish the process). Then I added some vegetables for/as decorationng, such as parsley and red bell pepper. I showedn it to my mom to taste. She loved it. I will do it in the next weekend. I love cooking :)

A true Italian cook will be muttering bad things when he sees that your sauce mix contains ingredients like sugar and cornflour.
The authentic procedure would go something like this :
Fry chopped garlic and onion in olive oil in a pan. Add tomato paste and stir in. Season with salt and pepper. When ready to serve add garnish of parsley, etc.
