EDX Beginner Italian Exercise 3 Hello, I'm doing the Beginner Italian course with EDX to help me improve my grammar. I know that the imperfect tense is used in Italian for unspecified times (or when the action is undefined), as in the example below where I talk about our childhood cat. I am starting to be able to use imperfect in speech. While writing it is too advanced for me right now! So I am using 'ha' and not 'aveva.' The point of the piece of writing below was to practice idiomatic expressions with the verb 'avere.' Ho un cane. Veramente non e' mio ma di mei genitori. Abitiamo insieme a casa con il cane, si chiama 'Meg.' Meg ha tre anni. E' nero e ha vivuto su una fattoria perche e' un cane da pastore gallese, lei. Com' e' Meg? Di solito Meg non ha sonno molto, forse quando e' piu' anziano. Meg, invece, sempre ha fretta, e' dopo suo passagiata anche ha fame e spesso troppo sete per aspettare gia' beve dalla strada. se c'e piove. Se vivo sola poi non e' facile a avere un animale domestiche. Vorrei un gatto e mio proprio casa. Quando ero una bambina abbiamo avuto un gatto. Preferisco un cane pero' un gatto e' facile per ha in casa quando fuori tutti il giorno.
