I want to write a joke about the picture below by saying :

As Daniela said, you don't need to add the word "marry".  Good  joke! :D

is it grammatically correct sentence ?

Hi!

when you proposed sounds more natural and everyone will understand it refers to a marriage proposal.

I don´t however, understand the joke :S (sorry haha)
