My favorite Chinese singer My favorite Chinese singer is Li Zhi , a balladeer about 30 years old. The most prominent feature of Li Zhi's songs is that most of them are negative and frustrated, yet soulful. This has something to do with his life experience. He had been a normal Chinese young boy until he attended college. Before going to college, he had been working so hard to change his life as a farmer's son. But the real world broke his Utopia. He didn't learn anything he wanted as a life skill. So he quit and became a street singer. My life experience is somewhat similar to his, which makes me fond of his works.
