The top work of Chinese art It’s frustrated for me to pick up the top in my mind. But <the music of frogs in spring>(wa sheng shi li chu shan quan) left a really deep impression on me, every time I look at it , I have different feelings. Qi Bai Shi, the master of wash painting, was famous by his unlimited artistic conception and unbelievable talent. He painted this incredible artwork, asked by Lao she, an essay writer who is his best friend. It portray the beautiful scenery in Zha shen xing’s poem. Qi dug into how to express the concept of “music” in a picture which it totally splendid and special. Finally, he finished this art in 1951 when he was 91, in his own studio. As a typical traditional Chinese painting, this masterwork has a huge white background, a creek. Six little tadpole and any two has imparities. No frog can be seen from the painting, but the longer you look at it, the more you think it’s real. The spring flow quickly, the polliwog swim happily, the frog call for her children genially, we can hear the melody delightfully, by our heart, in a harmony. It can be viewed in The Chinese modern museum of China writers association, because it’s a combination of literature and art. Now it’s known as the most outstanding work of Qi, contains several stories and feelings.
