I truly believe I could benefit from a different education system, oriented in a more pragmatic way and not so focused on theory and rote memorization. That is why experiencing a completely new approach to school and knowledge is one of the things I am more excited about. I also consider that the meritocracy the USA is known for will fit perfectly my strengths. Another of the aspects that make this a once in a lifetime opportunity, is the possibility of creating relationships with people that have a totally different mentality and outlook in life. Americans are known for his entrepreneurial mindset and his pursuit of innovation. Exposing myself to a completely new social environment and living behind the strong friendships I have in my hometown is probably the more challenging faces of this adventour. Nonetheless, the opportunities that will be presented to me far outweighs every possible downside. In summary, this is a privileged opportunity that I am determined to take advantage of. The lifetime relationships, the new approach to learning and the unmatched culture will make a new version, a better version, of myself. Thus, the positive impact I am striving to make in the world, can only be magnified.
