I want to (leave or left) some mark by commenting something here. p/s :- Someone made some post on Instagram, so I'm confused whether my comment up there is correct or not? 😅

The correct sentence is: 👉 "I want to leave some mark by commenting something here." ❌ (Still a bit unnatural) Better:‹✅ "I want to leave a mark by commenting here." (More natural) "Leave" is correct because "want to" is followed by the base verb. Also, use "a mark" instead of "some mark." 😊

Hi Ak, are you asking if 'leave' or 'left' is correct in this sentence? The best option is 'I want to leave', or for something you previously wanted 'I wanted to leave'. However, if you want to be very advanced you can also say 'I want to have left', but the meaning would be slightly different. Specifically, something you want to fully finish doing in the future. We use this tense very rarely. I hope that helps!
