today many people could speak english well ,i don;t now how could they speak english so well. i have been asked one of them.to tell me the way to learn english.he then told me that i have lot of things need to do.such as watch movies, talk with westerners ...remember the words.but so many words ....how could i remember all those words.do you know how to remember words?

Its all about memorization and assosciation. Take the word chair. The only true way your going to learn this word is by memorizing it until its engraved into your brain. Also when your memorizing it you need to think of and assosciate with what a chair is.

So when I say chair you don't think about what the word is in your language but what it actually means. Hope this helps

You have to practice, practice, and practice some more.

It is sometimes good to read books and the dictionary but I think the best way to improve is to watch TV shows and talk with English speakers while at the same time figuring out your mistakes.  You can't always move to an English speaking country but pretending like you're in it is the best way to learn that language

Your friend is right=) Movies and songs, chatting with not only English native speakers, but with everyone you meet. Native speakers usually don't care about grammar, but english learners do.

Buy a dictionary and study some words everyday.
Solve English crosswords.
When you are out of your house, write English words everywhere you see .
