AllenT may have a good answer. Depends on the book. It could also be a slur, a reference to the person's lack of ability (Halfy = having half the expected ability), or a reference to the person's size (Halfy = having half the expected height), as in J.R.R. Tolkein's "Lord or the Rings" trilogy, when the hobbit characters are called "half-lings" by people of normal, human size.
Again, it depends on the book.

Are you looking for a teacher, or just someone to chat with? I have recently returned to US from China, where I taught university-level Oral English, and I am now accepting new, online students.
If you only want to be a free language partner with other students, that’s OK. When you want some professional help, let me know.

Halfy would appear to be the second person's or character's name or nickname. The sentences are between the two people/characters Roar and Halfy.
