It was EMBARRASSING كانت مُحْرِجَةْ (Kaanet mo7regah) or (kaan mo7reg)
Don't do it or you will EMBARRASS her. ما تعملش كده عشان ما تحرجهاش - Ma te3melsh kedah 3ashan ma te7'reg'haash.

"Embarrass" means يحرج  Not يكسف 
"being shy" means تتكسف

-   أنا كنت محرج / محرجة
     "ana kont mo7rag / mo7raga"

-  كان محرج
  " kan mo7reg"   You can use to describe a situation or a subject.

-  متعملش كده وإلا هتحرجها
  " ma te3melsh keda wa ela hate7regha"
