I am try to answer the question of "why do you want to work in the service industry? " - the question from my employer . Any one can help me point out the errors or some disadvantages ? If you have any opinion on this question please let me know ,thanks a lot .

Firstly , I love meeting people and dealing with them .I really enjoy the interaction with people.
Secondly , I have good interpersonal communication skills which is helpful in this work.
Thirdly , I am happy to help people resolve their issues ,which is a huge inspiration to me.

One comment: I would not recommend using the "Firstly, Secondly, and Thirdly" preparatory words. Their use seems to limit your vision to only three areas. Try to use broad, generalist phrases to describe how your out-going and helpful personality make you the best choice for employment. Also, it is good to communicate your loyalty to employers.

I enjoy meeting new people and interacting with them. My superior interpersonal communication skills allow me to assist customers effectively. I am a problem-solver; I take pride in my natural ability to see all sides of an issue, and facilitate the resolution of differences between expectations and reality. I respect the business notion that the customer is always right.

lots of people work in the service industry without interacting with customers. So are you talking specifically about customer service?

Customer service usually brings an element of variety to a job. you have to deal with different, sometimes unexpected situations, and this brings a satisfaction when you can solve a new problem.
