kanji: used and unused pronunciations Studying kanji sometimes I find kanji with many pronunciations but some of these seem to be not used in any words. An example: 稿 from some online dictionaries I have found: kun: したがき、 わら on: コウ but checking the words I can see that only コウ is used. What are used the other pronunciations for?
