I agree with Jmat. If you want to learn how to pronounce English words, especially names, you should copy how native speakers say them. If you rely on Pinyin, what you say will just sound like, well... Chinese. Forget the transcriptions. Use your ears to listen and your mouth to imitate.

The closest Pinyin combination I can think of is "Zhe ri", but that's not quite the same. The sound represented by "zh" doesn't exist in English, but it's close enough to English "j". Just don't have you're tongue curled up when you say it, but don't have your tongue as flat as when you pronounce Pinyin "j". The English "eh" sound doesn't exist in Chinese. The "e" sound from 呢 and 个 (but not 这, which is more like "ei" in Pinyin) is the closest sound I can think of, but it's really more like the "er" in "her" than the "e" in "Jerry". The "i" in "ri" should be more like the "i" in "你" than the one in "日". After pronouncing "r" in Chinese, you keep your tongue curled while pronouncing the following vowel. We never do that in English. You definitely shouldn't rely on Pinyin to pronounce English. The pronunciation rules are completely different. You'd be better of learning IPA, learning which sounds exist in English that don't in Chinese, and going off that.
