but also you're right. 
Because we can translate from white to 하얀색 :)

You had a spell mistake.
GREEN :  초록색
And even if you say 밤색 people get understand you! Don't worry.

If you want to say "하얀색", that means "White Color". It's not just "White".
Beside that... we often use "갈색" to say brown color instead of "밤색"
