subtitles are useless... what you need is the word-lists for HSK exam

The soap opera 潜伏(qian fu) around 40 minutes for each one. with standard pronunciation ,easy to hear. The running man奔跑吧兄弟(ben pao ba xiong di) is a little longer,but very funny,using not difficult words too. If you want to know some culture things, introduce you 卧虎藏龙，荆轲刺秦王 and 英雄，十面埋 伏 （Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon、jingke ci qinwang/ hero/ House of Flying Daggers/） but the Jet Li's huangfeihong series is the best kongfu movie. 黄飞鸿之男儿当自强 is the best show.

Shaolin Soccer

I think The Flowers of War (金陵十三钗）is a good choice. It casts Christian Bale. So some of the parts is spoken in English. It also has English subtitles. It is a beautiful and heart touching film about the battle in China during World war two.
