mexican spanish apparently some spanish letters are pronounced in different ways in different parts of spanish speaking world: how are these pronounced in Mexican Spanish? 1. ll as in "me llamo" is it "g" as in "magic" or "y" as in "yes" or...? 2. v is always pronounced like a "b" right? 3. z is it like "th" as in thank you? or "s" as in "some" 4. does "g" have different pronunciations in different words? Muchas Gracias

Hi Ehsan, how are these pronounced in Mexican Spanish? 1. ll as in "me llamo" is like "y" in "yes" 2. v is always pronounced like a "b" 3. z is like "s" as in "some" 4. does "g" have different pronunciations in different words? I dont think so, the letter itself always suonds the same , BUT the letters that come after it can make it sound different.. here is a video where it is explained https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWJygsvO2Uo I hope it helps :)

The two first points in your list are well, the third one means to the iberian spanish. And the fourth one is also true. As Dann Connery says, you need to hear that sounds and practice to understand the difference, cause if you try to make it easy, it won´t be, trust me. Regards and good luck!!

Here we can't explain you the pronuntiation, so we most have conversations to practice it.
