Do you have Netflix? You can get what's called a VPN (I use Hola!) and set your country to Japan before signing on. Suddenly all the movies will be in Japanese or have Japanese subtitles. Also YouTube is great for this. I am subscribed to tons of Portuguese channels. Good luck!

I still use Hola to access content from Brazil from within the US. It worked last night, although there have been far more issues lately with Hola.
