what is you favorite song in japanese? I realized that the best method for me to learn another language is by listening. I learned english by listening song and watching tv. So now i want to learn how to speak japanese by listening to songs and watching Japanese dramas.

Hi, Diana! You've changed your name! I sometimes see the name as yours in japan too! I really agree with you. Learning by listening song is the one of the great and enjoyable way. Speaking of your question, I don't know music genres...but I like something energetic, cute and make me happy. So if you like these kids of songs...I'd recommend you Satomi' . She's really cute and has a beautiful voice. Check this out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTmQDh0VXQI and I also recommend, Fukuhara Miho, she is really famous in japan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjeO_6Wv_ME I'd heard she has sung at a gospel church in us or somewhere not japan. She has a really strong voice! Amazing!

Quite a lot of Miyavi's songs. I love him, and his attitude. And he changes quite a lot, so if you don't like one song, chances are you may like a different one. I guess it would depend on what kind of English music you like though, for me to help you find Japanese music you like.
