It's more complicated than that. Here is an example I've written to show you that some use of the word "would" is needed to descibe what you might do, because it is hypothetical, but then all other tenses may be used. :"I have always dreamed of visiting Greece. The idea of warm weather and beaches is very appealing to me. I would spend every day at the beach, walking through the hot sand and swimming in the ocean. At night I would go to some dance clubs or visit an art gallery."

Thanks, but if I first describe my ideal holiday before saying that it's my dream one, can I use present tense ? (Which means that i'm only describing it, not saying i could, or i would)

I'm not sure which tense - but this is how I would describe my dream vacation :) My ideal dream vacation would be a cozy library with books in which I could bury myself in (reading), where it's cold outside with snow lightly piling on the windowsills, and a warm fireplace I could sit by.
