Hi! a language partner is a very good idea to improve your speaking skills! It will help a lot to have somebody to talk to and to discuss your doubts :-) A pretty well method to improve the language is to watch movies/serials in original version with subtitles, listen to music and find/translate the lyrics, switch the language on your phone/laptop to English etc. Simply surround yourself with English.
