The last phoneme in 'there are' (the weak form) is a schwa, and it's the one that makes the 'uh' sound.

After saying it out loud a few times, it sounds like "ther-uh". I'm from Cardiff so it might be that other areas of the UK say it differently.

Hi there, I am a British English speaker and from listening to a range of regional dialects and "there uh" seems consistent to most. If spoken at speed it can sound like a two syllable single word where the "r" of there receives more emphasis as if you were saying "thuh ruh" first syllable sounding like "the" then "ruh"
