Apart from chatting with Chinese people, there are various resources which I personally use to learn Chinese. - http://www.standardmandarin.com/chinesephrases (basic phrases with audio pronunciation) -http://chinese.travel-way.net/ (basic phrases for various ocassions, has audio) - http://ics.qq.com/play.php?channel=In+Chinese (A TV program which teaches the basics. You can view the program on that website) You will have to make an effort to learn words and phrases by learning to write them in Pin Yin first and then trying to pronounce them. p.s. I'm not sure how good your English is, but next time PLEASE type your question in lower case, otherwise it puts people off from helping you.
