Destiny的意思就是命运。

it means fate the things that will happen to someone in the future, or the power that controls this. ok. it means a predetermined course of events considered as something beyond human power or control

it means an event (or a course of events) that will inevitably happen in the future. and it also means your overall circumstances or condition in life (including everything that happens to you) cowboy...

can you tell what you're going to be 10 years from now? what ever that might be, it's your destiny... destiny is something that lies in our very own hand from which we can not change or prevent it from happening. the only way we can do is to live by it and try to have a good and happy life despite of everything. some says, "I make my own destiny" which I consider it nonsense... how can anyone make "his" own destiny when "the Maker" made it for him? we can always dream, but we can not change our destiny. :)
