Marriage means " two persons live together with common senses, thoughts, interests and more important of all, culture. If your cultures are different, be sure that marriage does not have successful results. It is my beilief. and to marry for beauty , wealth, and somethings like them are worthless . Marriage is a Accommodation. how you accomodate two things that they are not fit togethers. If you have a socket you need a proper pluge for it. Just to be good is not correct to make marriage. thanks be happy

I don't see why it can't work. One would have to be very open to a lot of changes in life. Like moving or having someone else move with them who has different outlooks on life and the world around them. If one isn't used to changes and isn't willing to adapt then it probably won't work as well, but even then one can always try. Although both sides would need to compromise and try to makes things work regardless of anything. I No one ever knows how something like "marriage across nations" would work unless they experience it first hand.

If you mean international, rather than intranational, then I would say that at least one of the partners must have a lot of affinity for the other's culture to make it work well.

Do you mean one person leaving their country to marry another person in another land? That presents quite a few problems as others have mentioned here. Due to Australia being a multicultural nation, there are many marriages between nationalities and they usually work out well unless one partner is extremely religious and the other isn't.
