Question: What does she look like? Possible answers: She's beautiful, she's sexy, she's always smiling.. etc.. you answer this question by describing the physical characteristics of the person, what you can see in the open.. :)

We ask 'What is someone like?' when we want to know about a person's character. So the answer might be 'She's very nice, friendly, outgoing etc' We ask 'What does someone look like?' when we want to know about their physical appearence. So, the answer might be 'She's very tall and slim/ she has blond hair and blue eyes' etc
