Hi! I’m Lee, a native English teacher from London.
I’ve been teaching on italki since 2021, helping students from all over the world improve their English in a natural, enjoyable way. I was born and raised in London, and my lessons often include real-life English expressions and cultural insights from the UK.
My love for languages and travel has taken me to over 50 countries, and I’ve also learned to speak Russian, which helps me better understand the challenges of learning a new language.
Outside the classroom, I’m passionate about running, football, and exploring new places. I regularly take part in running events and enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds.Tôi với tư cách là giáo viên
My teaching journey began in Belarus (2006–2008) while studying Russian, where I gave English conversation lessons. In 2011, I moved to Kazakhstan and began teaching full-time at a language school in Shymkent. I loved it so much that I opened my own school in 2014, training teachers and teaching students of all ages. I’ve also helped many learners achieve their target IELTS scores. I’m a flexible teacher who adapts each lesson to the student’s needs and goals. In our first class, I learn what you want to achieve and design lessons around that. My main focus is helping you speak confidently through real conversation practice. I provide useful topic-based vocabulary and correct mistakes clearly, explaining why they happen. Mr. Lee helped me alot in preparing for the IELTS. He was well informed about the test specifics and could provide some useful tips for the test. He took the time to read some test-simulations i sent him beforehands and could thus help me with very specific critique on my writting style. Definitely recommendable. Thanks!
