I come from Lanzhou, China, a historic city along the ancient Silk Road with rich cultural roots. As a Chinese teacher, I love teaching and sharing my passion for Chinese language and culture. I'm also deeply interested in exploring classical poetry, historical stories, and the fascinating evolution of Chinese characters. That's why I not only teach Chinese in an engaging way, but also thoughtfully weave cultural insights into every lesson. I have some experience with Mandarin, but haven't practiced in a while. The teacher came prepared based on what I requested and she adjusted the class as she learnt more about my level. I felt comfortable speaking and the class went by really fast. She was friendly, professional and patient! Highly recommend!
