I´m from Lima, Perú. That makes my spanish one of the most neutral to learn. Besides speaking english, I'm also learning german and know basic french. I'm keen on pronunciation so I'm currently studying british english because I find it challenging. Also, I'm a musician and a sushi chef, so we can talk about a wide spectrum of topics. - I'm a very patient teacher. - I like my students to be comfortable to ask me to repeat 100 times if necessary. - I bring topics that students will actually use. - I like to teach what I call "real life spanish", which sometimes is not what we get on books. - Since I speak english and some german, I'm aware of the difficulties with spanish pronunciation for english and german speakers. -I mostly use my own material -I combine approaches and tricks that I've learned and tried so far. This allows me to tailor lessons for every student. -I have experience teaching in spanish academies in my country, in person and online, groups and one-to-one. -I speak slowly for beginners and I'm always willing to repeat until the learner is satisfied. -For pronunciation issues, I have a drilling exercise called "sílaba por sílaba", which works perfectly for students' whose mother tongue is too different from spanish. -Grammar is always addressed with reading material which is used by many spanish academies in latinamerica. -Outstanding students get to join my spanish learners group.
