Linguist with over 30 years of language-learning experience. My name is Jenny and I've been learning languages for over 30 years. I speak French, German and Italian at B2 level, and I'm learning Hindi, Māori, Swedish, and Spanish. I have a MA (Hons) in Italian with Linguistics and a MSc with Merit in Philosophy. I completed an introductory TEFL course while I was at university and I've been a community tutor since 2013. I love reading, watching movies, listening to music... and of course, learning languages! I love to chat about life, the universe and everything - from the fun to the serious. Sports, history, science, food, films, travel, philosophy... anything! :) **I teach all levels: A1-C2.** **I teach adults and children aged 13 years old and over.** I customise all lessons to the student's level, learning preferences and interests, which I ascertain in the first lesson. I use English almost exclusively and aim to strike a balance with the student between accuracy and fluency. I aim to provide a relaxed space for asking questions and developing the confidence to use the language - even on unfamiliar topics - without worrying about minor mistakes. I offer two types of lesson: English Conversation +: For general conversation practice and/or pronunciation/grammar work. (Packages of 5 lessons available.) Personal Syllabus (10 lessons): For students at all levels who would like a series of more structured lessons. (If you only want 5 lessons, please book a package of English Conversation +.)
