Intensive Courses for Norskprøven | Starting May 2026 | A1–B2 Hei! I’m Lizzie, a native Norwegian tutor from Kristiansand. I have lived and studied in many different countries, including Belarus, Greece, the US, and Nevis, but I am originally from the land of the midnight sun. I love everything about life here—whether it’s skiing under the northern lights, swimming in glacier lakes, or watching the sunrise at 2 a.m., I’m here for it, especially if it involves a wool sweater or waffles with brown cheese. I have traveled extensively and enjoy spending time in London, Paris, and other parts of the world, but there is nothing like summers at home in Southern Norway. Professionally, I hold degrees in biology (pre-medicine), political science, and biblical counseling, and I am currently working on an MDiv while training to become a medical doctor. I offer fast-track, structured Norwegian courses, from A1 to B2. This approach is especially effective for those planning on working in Norway or studying at the university. The courses are one-on-one, and I use the following textbooks: Sett i gang (A1–A2), Stein på stein (B1), and Her på berget (B2). You can choose between a mini-intensive and a full-intensive program. The mini-intensive program uses the textbook "The Mystery of Nils." The courses are suitable for adult learners of all backgrounds; however, I do not work with children. My goal is to help you build fluency and confidence, so you will pass norskprøven and hopefully have some fun along the way. Håper vi sees!

The teacher cancelled the lesson on me, saying that she doesn't have room for any new individual students. For some reason, italki did not stop me from booking with her.. and I feel that a change needs to be made to the italki system to more clearly display teachers' real availabilities. now I am waiting for a refund.
