Hej på dig! Ida heter jag. Jag bor i Zambia tillsammans med min man, och vi älskar att lära oss nya saker och att utmana oss med nya äventyr. Jag har jobbat volontärt som lärare i olika ämnen i över 12 år, samt ett år på en svensk skola. Jag pratar 4 språk flytande, och studerar 6 andra språk på fritiden, för skojs skull!
Hello there! My name is Ida. My husband and I are located in Zambia, where we love challenging ourselves with new adventures. I have been working volunteerly as a teacher for over 12 years, and also a full year at a Swedish school. Alla lär sig på olika sätt, och olika snabbt. Därför behöver jag som lärare vara beredd på att anpassa mig efter varje enskild elevs behov och smak. Jag tycker att tålamod och lagom mycket skratt är det mest effektiva läromedlet.
Everyone is different, learn differently and at different speeds. As a teacher I therefor need to be ready to adapt according to the students individual needs and wants. Hjärnan kan, enligt en del vetenskapsmän, bara hålla fullt fokus på ett och samma ämne i max 10 minuter. Därför är det viktigt att variera sig, speciellt när man lär sig en ny förmåga. Varierade lektioner, ämnen och uppgifter är jätteviktigt.

Every week when I log on, my mood improves and I enjoy her company. I also love how empowered I feel working with her- she always helps lead me to the correct answer without just telling me. I learn so much this way!
