As a native Swahili speaker and certified teacher, I thrive on helping students unlock the beauty of East Africa’s lingua franca. My lessons blend language with culture—think Swahili songs, travel stories, and real-world conversations. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me singing local tunes or exploring nature, always gathering inspiration to make learning vibrant and relatable. Let’s turn challenges into confidence, one *Jambo!* at a time.
I am compassionate and take great pride in enabling positive development in each of my students. I'm creative and my presentation skills can be tailored to my students' needs. I always foster community in classroom. I make sure there's mutual respect between students and me, rules are followed and everyone in the classroom contributes to each other's learning and development. whenever I have a lesson with my Swahili learner I always make sure that the learner has understood up to the end.
My lessons are scheduled ten minutes in advance before starting to ensure that my learners are prepared psychologically and ready for the lesson. I teach Swahili language through skype, google meet, zoom and face to face in the classroom setup. I also teach through giving assignments and quizzes to ensure content capturing. Sometimes I teach this language through sending pdf files which consist both Swahili and English languages in translated form.
