I've been taking Chinese classes with Lilian on italki for about two months now, and it's been a really great experience. She's super patient and always takes the time to explain things clearly, which really helps me understand the language better. Her classes are also fun and relaxed, so I never feel too stressed even when something is difficult. I’ve definitely improved a lot since I started. Highly recommend her if you're learning Chinese!

Lillian always prepares well before delivering her class. She is enthusiastic and encouraging throughout the lesson and gives me plenty of chances to practice speaking. She is happy to answer any questions I have and integrate them into the lesson. The pace of the lesson is just right- adapting to my grasp of the new topics. I would recommend her lessons to anyone looking for a Mandarin teacher 💯

Lilian is an excellent teacher! She is attentive and makes sure every minute is spent on learning content. Really enjoying the lessons and can already tell I am improving just 3 lessons in.

It’s only been a few short weeks, and already I feel like I can say a lot in Chinese. Each class is a new unit that’s just the perfect size for beginners with a easy to understand step by step approach. We also get to practice what we saw in previous unit, by reusing those words in the day’s unit. There’s a lot of emphasis on speaking, and with Lillian’s guidance, I’m able to try making new sentences and be creative with Chinese, which I find very helpful.

My lessons with Lillian are quickly increasing my confidence in speaking Mandarin! She is very patient, gently corrects my pronunciation and is always eager to help me form new sentences or make sense of a new grammar rule. Best of all, each I'm surprised when our classes are over because the time goes by so fast.
