I’ve been having lessons with Helena for more than 1 year already. 我跟Helena上中文课一年多了 She has a lot of really good learning materials. 她有很多很多很有用的课文和故事 Her ability to communicate is excellent, and the lessons are never too hard, or too easy. 她说英语也说得很棒，而且她的课很适合我，不太难，也不太容易 I always like learning with Helena :) 我很喜欢跟Helena上中文课！

很好！Helena is very friendly and patient, and also very good at explaining things :) Our lesson was clear and very structured. There was a good balance of explanations and practice. I always feel very nervous in lessons but Helena made me feel at ease :) Would definitely recommend!

Lesson was so much fun!! Helena crafted the lesson specifically for me and my current situation. I could tell she prepared the materials very well! I also appreciated her teaching me slang, or common/formal ways of speaking, and breaking down each sentence or word and what they mean when you string them together. We also continuously worked on pronunciation and sounding more fluid, which I want to get better at. I'm looking forward to the next lesson! It's never a boring time :)

very much enjoying my one on one tutoring with Helena, learning alot and even after class with her she sends me notes. which I use until my next class with her, a constant stream of information that she explains very clearly so you can understand. each lesson I learn more. I'm excited to keep learning. I highly recommend. it's structured but flexible and feels natural .

Helena has been an amazing teacher. I was looking for 5-6 days of Cantonese lessons specifically to prepare to talk to students and parents at school. Helena introduced fundamentals of Cantonese speech and grammar along with relevant vocabulary specific to what I needed. She spoke at a good pace and we practised conversation skills using the previous lesson's material. Each lesson was a balance between learning a few new concepts, repeated reading practice, reading dialogue and quizzes. Helena was able to adapt to my learning style and speed with each lesson. I felt I have learned months of Cantonese in only a week, with all the material chosen being relevant and immediately useful.
