The really appealing thing about working with Robert is that in addition to being a good teacher, he is also very well read and thinks deeply about a wide variety of issues. Our hours are filled with conversations that would be stimulating and challenging in any language- that they’re in German makes it a great learning experience

Robert is one the best German teachers that I have encountered. He is patient and extremely professional at all times. He paces the class just right so you feel challenged but not overwhelmed. He always lectures with the intent to help you understand the material, and to give you the tools so that you can be self-sufficient. And it is a pleasure to simply have a chat with him, since Robert is knowledgeable in an extremely wide variety of subjects! Thank you so much for helping me to improve my German language skills.

I love telling stories in German. It forces me to think about vocabulary. Robert is really patient with that!

考前最后一节课，老师还给我进行了“心灵按摩”，开导我的紧张情绪。他跟我说，刚开始听力的时候如果脑子一片空白，就单纯地放过那一题。感觉我在听力的时候确实很紧张，但因为这个策略，我觉得至少心态稳定了一些。 包括他还提醒我要带巧克力，不然考到后面会没有劲。幸好听了他的建议，我考完写作的时候真的已经没啥劲儿了，那么早起来在考场等待，真的是巧克力救了我的命。
