Lucy's lessons are fantastic. She will quickly identify your current ability and teach you at the right level. She is very organised and her lessons are well structured. I would highly recommend her.

Hands down Lucy is my favorite teacher on italki. I use several teachers on italki but I absolutely love the structure that Lucy provides at every lesson. So far I’ve had 7 lessons with Lucy. At the first lesson, she tested what level I was at. From there, she comes up with new lessons based on my ability. At the start of every class, we review a sentence that contains vocab from the previous lesson. Then we move on to new lessons. Time just flies during our lessons but they are very productive. I take lots of notes and Lucy sends the PowerPoint slides after the lesson. This allows me to review and prepare for the next class. If you want structure and a methodology to learning Mandarin Chinese, I highly recommend Lucy. She is very effective

Lucy is a brilliant teacher. Her material is clear and really well structured. We spent a lot of time on pronunciation because my tones were all over the place. She is a very patient and efficient teacher. By far one of the best teachers out there. I'm excited to keep learning with her !
