Michela Badii

Great to be back after a new year’s break! Used the time to read a whole novel in Italian and ready to forge ahead into the B2 book. Can’t believe how far we’ve come in two years!

Michela has a sixth sense about language. When I struggle to express a nuanced thought she is able to both cognitively and emotionally ascertain precisely what it is I'm trying to say. This is a rarity. Her humor and her empathy are a winning combination which augments her obvious intellect. Finally, she has an ocean of patience for me, far more than any instructor with whom I've previously worked. Her ability as an instructor is unrivaled, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I wish I didn’t have to work and could just learn Italian full time. 😂

I have been studying with Michela for a couple of months now. She is a fantastic teacher! I am still in the stage where I feel like a beginner and need to study a lot more. But I'm also amazed at how much I have learned in such a short time. She is very patient and encouraging. She is also generous with her time and her help. I feel lucky to have found her on this site! I plan to continue studying with her until I feel much more comfortable holding conversations in Italian.

Good lesson chatting about impossible cities to live in and I tried to use some of the new vocabulary about the environment and continuing to incorporate subjunctive constructions in real time.

As usual our lesson was very enjoyable and I really enjoy being pushed to use all the Italian I can to discuss many topics.
