Jessica (Adults)

Jessica has helped me to get started on my Mandarin learning journey over the past five weeks, with a focus on pinyin and pronunciation. I've also learned some basic vocabulary, grammar, and useful phrases. Now I'm looking forward to immerse myself in the language while travelling in Taiwan! All lessons were well-structured, enjoyable and motivating - Jessica deserves her 5-star rating! :)

I have been taking Jessica's conversation class for the past few months. I can say it is an inspiring learning journey. During the class, she provided a well structured main points from each topic thus making brainstorming easier to do. Besides a clear pronounciation both in Chinese and English, which I found it very helpful, bonus point is you get to learn 台語 as well. Jessica is also an encouraging and consistent kind of teacher. What I can say is I have learned several bunch of things from her :)

I have followed around 10 lessons with Jessica starting from 0 Mandarin skills. I am learning efficiently because she has a method that works well with me. I am learning and having fun. I recommend (I take 45 minutes length session).

Jessica was very friendly and spoke at a pace I could understand. She also wrote out new words to help with pronunciation and explained how to use them properly. She answered questions I had very clearly!

I used to be a simplified chinese learner, and switching simplified to traditional chinese is not an easy task yet, Jessica makes the learning process enjoyable and fun at the utmost! As I am taking her conversation class, Jessica provides the relevant materials from video, social media, news, movies and natives daily expressions which where you won't find it in formal textbooks. I am excited and found it helpful tho, hope I could apply it during my stay in Taiwan :)
