Mads

Mads is an amazing teacher. I've been practicing Norwegian with him for a year, and I've made great progress. He's very helpful, attentive, and friendly. The lessons feel like meeting a friend for coffee:) which helps get rid of any fears of speaking or making a mistake. One of the things I like best (as a teacher myself) is how Mads works with mistakes - he doesn't just correct them, but asks the student to do it first. This method makes you remember much better than if the teacher just corrects everything for you.

Mads has built my confidence to speak Norwegian after only a couple of lessons. He is a great conversation partner and fun to talk to as well. I was almost too nervous to speak before our first lesson, but we had a great conversation which fit my needs. He can also suggest better ways to say certain sentences and helps with grammar. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed the conversation really much even though my Norwegian isn't really good. He is very patient and nice teacher. Before the lesson I was stressed a bit because it was my first time speaking Norwegian to anyone but then I totally chilled out. I recommend him really much

Having a session with him is like talking with a friend, especially if you talk about your life and your culture. It feels less of like having a session of talking, but more like just talking. He gives material for you to read or watch and questions that you can answer in the session. But if you're talkative, you can talk whatever you want. You can talk about your country's cuisine and learn about Norwegian food in turn, for example.

Mads is a great teacher! Friendly, helpful, and dedicated. He focuses on the student’s needs, which makes the lessons both enjoyable and educational 😊
