Good teachers are truly one of the most beautiful things in life. She is a great teacher. And if you want to take your Korean language skills to the next level, this is the perfect person to help you get there. I’ve had many teachers throughout my life. Soona is definitely in my top five favorite teachers ever!! Learning a new language, like Korean can be very tough, especially for English speakers. She will help you learn to pronounce every syllable. She will be very patient with you. She has the ability to explain things in a way that is easy to understand and digest. She is a great teacher. It’s time to take your Korean skills to the next level. And this is the tutor you need to do it.

Soona is an amazing teacher! I've now had lessons with her for almost a year and I went from barely being able to string together a sentence to talking about all kinds of interesting topics. She is incredibly flexible, fun, good at explaining concepts and also giving you exercises that allow you to apply those concepts immediately. I'm currently doing her writing challenge, which I can also highly recommend. There's new topics all the time, so you constantly have to learn about new words and sayings in order to get your point across. It's been a big part of expanding my vocabulary/improving my grammar and it has really helped me gain confidence when producing sentences. The feedback is great because you get grammatical/semantical corrections as well as more native-like alternative suggestions that you can learn from.

Learning a language can be one of the most exciting endeavors you undertake. But it’s important you do it with the right teacher. Soona is the best teacher you could ask for. She’s incredibly smart, kind, and really skilled at helping you develop your language skills. Don’t just hire any tutor. Hire the best. Hire Soona!!!

Taking classes with my Korean teacher has been an incredible experience. Even though life gets busy at times and also the time change in Europe during winter sometimes makes scheduling challenging, just one class with her always leads to significant improvement. Her patience and encouragement create a comfortable learning environment, and her ability to smoothly correct my sentences without discouraging me truly sets her apart. I feel so lucky to have her as my teacher—she has made learning Korean enjoyable and effective for me. I wish italki had a “Teacher of the Year” award because she absolutely deserves recognition for her outstanding teaching. If such an award existed, I’m confident she would win not just prizes but also the appreciation she deserves for her dedication and skill. Thank you for being the best teacher I could have hoped for!

I was very excited to learn Korean and Soona has exceeded my expectations! Soona is very patient and clear, and as I am a complete beginner I require lots of guidance which she is happy to give. I am really enjoying the classes and would highly recommend Soona to anyone looking to learn Korean!

So far I have only had two lessons, but I am very pleased with the attention to detail of the lessons, the clear explanations regarding pronunciation and Soona Lee‘s kindness and patience :)
