He is excellent tutor for explaining pronunciation, and is very detailed about describing how languages work from a scientific perspective. Very in depth and descriptive on how to translate and read German.

Brian is an exceptional teacher. If you want to learn Ancient Greek and also engage in the occasional conversation/debate that makes you actually think from time to time, then you should book a lesson with him right this minute. I can confirm that his German is also rather excellent.

I have been learning English with Brian for several years, and he is the only teacher who has truly made a difference in my language skills. Under his guidance, I have seen consistent improvements and real progress in my English proficiency.

Today was my first class with Brian and I thoroughly enjoy the lesson. He came across as a very a well organized, prepared and attentive teacher, who gave many examples that helped my understanding. I am fully aware that learning Ancient Greek will be a hard endeavour but I feel more reassured knowing that there will be more lessons with Brian. I'm looking forward to them!
