Hi, I´m Paul. I´m a friendly and easy going person and really enjoy meeting and getting to know new people! I´ve travelled a lot and have a great passion for new places and different cultures. I was born and bred in Scotland (which I´d be happy to tell you about) and certainly have an accent but I speak very clearly and students understand me easily so if you want to try a new accent, I´m your guy!
My main hobbies are cooking, reading, writing poetry/lyrics, learning Spanish and going for long walks in nature. As I mentioned, meeting new people is one of my favourite things too and I hope to meet you! :)
Please note: No third parties (e.g. language schools) and I teach adults only.
I have some formal teaching experience. I taught English to students in a Nepali school and a taught a number of classes in Spain, as a TEFL teacher. Most of my experience in language assistance, though, comes from helping learners from around the world, conversationally, which is why I´m well suited as a conversation tutor. I co-founded a successful English conversation group in Colombia in 2014, for locals (with differing levels of English) to practice with other learners and native speakers. I like to think I put people at ease and help them to speak freely. I really enjoy working with students and take a lot of satisfaction from watching them progress and grow in confidence.

I had more than 10 interesting and productive lessons with Paul. We usually discuss different topics (sports, movies, history, news, etc.), read articles, watch videos. Paul patiently makes corrections and provides new words and phrases. I am glad to work with him because of his professionalism, calmness and decency. Thank you for your lessons :)

I can recommend Paul as an excellent teacher and a very interesting conversationalist.
Very useful lessons with discussion of recent news and interesting topics. Paul always offers tasks to choose from, and during the lesson you get all your mistakes for further work.
