My name is Giovanni and I was born in Turin in the north of Italy. I have lived abroad for many years. Way back in 1994 I went to live in Dublin in Ireland where I worked and studied for 6 years and then moved to Wales in the United Kingdom to study for the Bachelor of Arts in Documentary Photography. I lived in the U.K. and Ireland for about 12 years. In 2006 I moved to Bangkok in Thailand to teach English for a private language school and later on I found work at the Italian Academy of Fashion and Design as a teacher of Italian, English and photography. I also taught Italian at the first University of Thailand in Bangkok called Chulalongkorn. Now I live in Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand.Tôi với tư cách là giáo viên
In 2005 after obtaining my Bachelor Degree from the University of Newport I studied at the University of Cardiff and achieved the PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) which is the necessary qualification in the United Kingdom to be able to be a teacher. In 2006 I moved to Bangkok in Thailand to teach English and Italian. I am a teacher who likes to be flexible, given the many years spent in different countries I am able to understand students from different cultures. My lessons are always targeted at each individual. I am a teacher full of enthusiasm and with many years of experience. I always encourage students to ask questions. I am very friendly and approachable. Phong cách dạy & bài học của tôi
I always prepare lessons by using detailed lesson plans and activities. I always make sure that my lessons begin with an introduction and then I always focus on a particular topic on which students can then expand on with their ideas. In addition to the lesson plans, I utilize other teaching materials for interactive conversation and for written and listening tasks. In my opinion it is very important to entertain the student and that is why I am very flexible in my lessons. I am very open minded and I managed to achieve this by living abroad and teaching students from different countries.

This was the final session of working through my written assignment. After this, we will return to our arranged study topics. However, finishing this task was another great experience as we covered several complex constructions reflecting more sophisticated language usage. It was challenging, but working through this with Giovanni made it fun! Particularly, comparing the nuances between constructions in natural, formal English and its Italian equivalents.

Oggi abbiamo avuto una lezione emozionante! We looked at a homework that included pictures from my weekend, and Giovanni even shared some pictures for his life! This type of studying is fun because it gives great examples of typical conversations, and it makes me feel like Giovanni is a great friend instead of a teacher. Grazie Giovanni- a domani!

We returned to our more usual lesson structure of conversation practice first, then specific study. This time, for the study we reviewed some complex sentences from the recent writing activity which used the subjunctive, and the expression 'farsene una ragione.' This was both useful and informative, and I particularly enjoy working through these more sophisticated sentence constructions with Giovanni.
