I have been learning Spanish for 8 years because I have relatives from Bolivia. My current level is B2/C1 and at this point in my language journey I need to learn more about the culture and jargon of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Ricardo is exactly what I need right now! He is extremely knowledgeable, patient and positive. In addition, he creates custom activities to help me progress. Our time in classes flies by; they are always engaging, helpful and fun. He also has a strong internet with high quality video and audio with little to no background noise (I have a hearing impairment so clear audio with no distraction is essential). I highly recommend him!

I like to learn Spanish based on conversation, with better grammar and a larger vocabulary flowing from the interaction. Ricardo is of great aid in this process. His understanding of both Spanish and English is so good that the talk keeps going as I learn new words (or am reminded of old ones). He is very interested in teaching and this reinforces my grammar. When Ricardo recognizes a need for review, he devises exercises that help me remember verb forms. For example, he transcribed dialogue from a comedy movie that was in the present tense; I revised it, speaking in the past tense. He included photos from the film and other visuals, making it a very entertaining way to get more adept at Spanish. I am happy to recommend Ricardo as an excellent tutor.
