Lucas is a great teacher. He is knowledgeable, personable, and patient. I have completed over 200 lessons with him, and have gone from knowing almost nothing besides vocabulary to nearly finishing Roma Aeterna. I highly recommend him to anyone interested in learning Latin.

I have been studying with Lucas A. for a few months now, and we're able to hold conversations in Latin like two friends catching up on life. In our first session, I could barely mutter out what my name was or where I was from, even though I had read Familia Romana and Wheelock's. Now, although I still stutter here and there, my Latin has immensely improved, and I can confidently say that I can speak it. Lucas is patient, caring, and deeply knowledgeable. He has resources, and he knows how to tailor the lesson to your needs. I look forward to the next few months of pushing my fluency to the next level.
