I really enjoyed my first Chinese lesson with Chia. She introduced me to pinyin and tones in a very clear and structured way, which made it easy to understand as a beginner. We also practiced a variety of vocabulary at the same time, which was fun and practical. Chia was excellent at explaining concepts, and her feedback with tones was patient and encouraging, which made me feel comfortable practicing. I'm looking forward to our next lesson !

Now I can hold A2-level conversations about everyday topics and current events. Since I’m like Taiwanese culture, she incorporated cultural lessons into our sessions, which made learning feel less like work and more like genuine discovery. When I forget something (which happens often), she re-explains with different examples until it clicks, never rushing or showing frustration. The lessons are well-structured but flexible. She adapts based on how I’m doing that day and what I need most. Whether it’s pronunciation, grammar, or just conversational practice, she knows how to adjust.
